Zidra Apple Cider

Zidra Apple Cider is a Portuguese fruit cider made with apples. The classic of the range, crisp and easy to drink, for an apéritif or a sunny lunch.

Tasting notes

Apple cider is fresh and fruity, with notes of green and ripe apple, a gentle acidity and fine bubbles. Clean, crisp and thirst-quenching. Pour it into a wide wine glass rather than a tall one, so the fruit aromas can open up.

Food pairing

Lovely with roast pork, a bifana, charcuterie, a cheese board or grilled sardines.

About Zidra

Zidra makes fruit ciders with a Portuguese accent, from apple to prickly pear, passion fruit and pomegranate. Cider has a long history in Portugal, especially on Madeira, where Sidra da Madeira has its own geographical indication, and a new generation of producers is bringing it back with modern, fruity styles.
