Pickup currently not available
Vila das Rainhas Ginja de Óbidos is a Portuguese sour cherry liqueur from Óbidos, the medieval walled town north of Lisbon famous for its ginja. It is the classic bottle to share with friends after dinner, and a gift that tastes of Portugal.
Tasting notes
Ginja is made by steeping ginja sour cherries in alcohol with sugar. Expect a deep ruby colour, ripe and sour cherry, a hint of almond from the stones and a sweet, warming finish.
Food pairing
Serve it in small chocolate cups, the Óbidos way, or with dark chocolate, a cherry tart, a pastel de nata or vanilla ice cream.
