Vieira de Sousa
Vieira de Sousa 20 Year Old Tawny Port
Pickup currently not available
Vieira de Sousa 20 Year Old Tawny Port is a fortified wine from the Douro, made by a Port-growing family from its own old vineyards and aged for two decades in oak casks. This is the bottle for a special dinner or a gift that people remember.
Tasting notes
Amber with a copper rim. On the nose, candied orange and a little candied lemon, dried fruit, fine spices with a hint of cardamom, and soft caramel. Long years in wood make the palate silky and nutty, with a fresh, lingering finish.
Food pairing
Serve it with crème brûlée or leite creme, pecan or almond tart, toucinho do céu, or a mature Serra da Estrela. It is also perfect on its own with a few roasted almonds.
