Vieira de Sousa
Vieira de Sousa 10 Year Old White Port
Pickup currently not available
Vieira de Sousa 10 Year Old White Port is a fortified wine from the Douro, blended from Rabigato, Viosinho, Malvasia Fina, Gouveio and other white grapes grown on the family's own vines. Aged white Port is one of the Douro's best-kept secrets, and this one is a beautiful way to discover it.
Tasting notes
Golden in the glass. Complex aromas of raisins, walnuts, orange peel and dried figs. The grapes are fermented with their skins in stone lagares, and the wine ages in 5,000-litre casks. Rich and sweet, with 20% alcohol and a long, nutty finish.
Food pairing
Serve it chilled with foie gras, a cheese board with Azeitão, almond tart, or roasted nuts as an aperitif.
