Vieira de Sousa
Vieira de Sousa 10 Year Old Tawny Port
Pickup currently not available
Vieira de Sousa 10 Year Old Tawny Port is a fortified wine from the Douro, made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and other grapes grown on the family's own vines, over 40 years old. It is the easiest way into aged Port: smooth, nutty and ready to pour.
Tasting notes
Ten years and more in oak casks and large barrels give it tawny, brown tones. Dried fruit and ripe red plum on the nose, then a smooth, warm palate with notes of wood and toasted nuts. 19.5% alcohol.
Food pairing
Try it with pastéis de nata, a toasted almond cake, crème caramel, or a cheese board with Azeitão and Serra da Estrela.
