Quinta do Salvante
Quinta do Salvante Reserva Red
Pickup currently not available
Quinta do Salvante Reserva Red is a Portuguese red wine from Trás-os-Montes, in the far northeast of Portugal, blended from Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira and Bastardo. It is a generous, full-bodied Reserva for slow dinners and cold evenings, from a mountain region most visitors never get to taste.
Tasting notes
Ruby in the glass. Ripe red fruit with a compote edge, then dried nuts and warm spice. The palate is full and fresh at the same time, with polished tannins and a long, even finish.
Food pairing
Pour it with roast kid or lamb, alheira and other smoked sausages from the north, a slow-cooked beef stew, or a mature sheep's cheese.
About Quinta do Salvante
Quinta do Salvante makes its wines in Trás-os-Montes, where vineyards sit on high, dry plateaus with hot summers and hard winters. That climate gives reds with ripe fruit and real backbone.
