Quinta de la Rosa White

Quinta de la Rosa White is a Portuguese white wine from the Douro Valley, made by a family-owned estate at Pinhão, in the heart of the Port wine country. It shows a fresher side of the Douro, and it is a reliable white to open with almost any fish dish.

Tasting notes

Douro whites are usually blends of local grapes such as Rabigato, Viosinho, Gouveio and Malvasia Fina, grown at altitude to keep their freshness. Expect citrus and white fruit, a floral lift and a clean, lightly mineral finish shaped by the valley's schist soils.

Food pairing

Pour it with grilled sea bass, bacalhau com natas, prawns with garlic, or a summer salad with peaches and fresh cheese.
