Quinta da Raza
Quinta da Raza Pet Nat Orange Wine
Quinta da Raza Pet Nat Orange is a Portuguese sparkling orange wine from the Basto sub-region of Vinho Verde, made by a family estate in Celorico de Basto. Two trends in one bottle: the soft bubbles of a pét-nat and the texture of a skin-contact white.
Tasting notes
Pét-nat is bottled before fermentation ends, so it sparkles naturally and gently. Skin contact adds an amber tint, light grip and aromas of dried citrus and orchard fruit. Vinho Verde grapes bring the region's signature freshness, so expect a dry, zesty, easy glass.
Food pairing
Lovely with fried fish, a francesinha at lunch, grilled chicken, a vegetable tempura or a plate of cured ham.
