Quinta da Palmirinha Loureiro White 2022

Quinta da Palmirinha Loureiro White 2022 is a single-variety Vinho Verde white wine from northern Portugal, made from organically grown Loureiro by Fernando Paiva, one of the pioneers of biodynamic farming in Portugal. Forget the light, fizzy Vinho Verde you may know: this is a still, textured white with real character.

Tasting notes

Medium-bodied, with good acidity and a clear mineral line. Loureiro is known for its floral, citrus aromas, and here it comes with more texture and depth than most wines of the region. There is no spritz, just a fresh, lingering finish.

Food pairing

Try it with clams and chouriço, amêijoas à Bulhão Pato, grilled octopus, a fish rice, or fresh goat cheese with herbs.

Quinta da Palmirinha is the estate of Fernando Paiva in the Vinho Verde region. He farms without synthetic pesticides, fertilisers or herbicides and treats the vineyard as a living, balanced ecosystem.
