Quinta da Murta Rosé

Quinta da Murta Rosé is a Portuguese rosé wine from the Lisbon region, made in Bucelas, just north of the city, by an estate best known for its Arinto whites. It is a fresh, easy pink wine for sunny afternoons, picnics and the first glass of the evening.

Tasting notes

The estate describes its rosé as fresh, mineral, fruity and floral, medium bodied, soft on the palate with a long finish. Serve it cold and let it warm a little in the glass so the fruit comes through.

Food pairing

Try it with grilled prawns, a salada de polvo, sushi, tomato and burrata, or caldeirada. It also pairs well with light curries.

About Quinta da Murta

Quinta da Murta is a wine estate in Bucelas, a small appellation about 25 km north of Lisbon whose whites were once shipped to England. The estate labels its wines "The Wine of Shakespeare", a nod to that old English fame.
