Portugal in Tube Ginja de Óbidos Liqueur (Tasting Tube)

Portugal in Tube Ginja de Óbidos Liqueur is a Portuguese sour cherry liqueur from Óbidos, north of Lisbon, sold in a small glass tasting tube. It is a light, fun souvenir to slip into a suitcase, or a first taste of ginja.

Tasting notes

Ginja is made by steeping ginja sour cherries in alcohol with sugar. Expect ripe and sour cherry, a hint of almond and a sweet, warming finish.

Food pairing

Pour it into a chocolate cup, or sip it with dark chocolate or a pastel de nata.
