Pickup currently not available
Mulher de Capote Aguardente Vínica Velha is a Portuguese aged wine brandy from Ribeira Grande, on São Miguel in the Azores, aged in American oak. It is a digestif for the end of a long meal, the island way, with a coffee.
Tasting notes
Aguardente vínica is distilled from wine, then aged in wood, here American oak. Aged wine brandies typically show notes of dried fruit, vanilla, toasted wood and caramel, with a warm, smooth finish.
Food pairing
Serve it after dinner with a bica, dark chocolate, walnuts and dried figs, or a slice of Azorean cheese from São Jorge.
