Miguel Louro
Miguel Louro Primeiro Nome White
Pickup currently not available
Primeiro Nome is an Alentejo white wine made by Miguel Louro from Arinto, Alvarinho and Rabigato grown near Estremoz. It has real texture and bright acidity: the Portuguese white to open when you want Alentejo generosity that still tastes fresh.
Tasting notes
Notes published for the 2020 vintage describe a lemon yellow colour, green apple and soft floral aromas, with a light toasty touch from fermentation in French oak. The palate is medium bodied and silky, with crisp acidity and a long finish. Nine months on fine lees give it a rounded feel.
Food pairing
Try it with grilled sea bream, bacalhau à Brás, roast chicken with lemon and thyme, or a semi-cured Alentejo sheep cheese.
