Menin Reserva White

Menin Reserva White is a Douro white wine from Menin Douro Estates, made from the valley’s native white grapes. Douro whites come from high, cooler vineyards and pair ripeness with freshness. This Reserva has the extra depth to stand up to a proper meal.

Tasting notes

Douro white Reservas typically show citrus, white peach and a mineral, flinty side, often with a touch of toast from barrel ageing, and a fresh, persistent finish. Grapes such as Viosinho and Gouveio are common in the region.

Food pairing

Serve it with grilled sea bream, octopus with olive oil and potatoes (polvo à lagareiro), chicken with a creamy sauce or a plate of cured goat cheeses.

About Menin Douro Estates

Menin Douro Estates farms about 55 hectares in the Douro, ten of them old vineyards, around Quinta da Costa de Cima. Its winery works by gravity, and in 2021 it took over the Horta Osório wines.
