Fraga Alta White

Fraga Alta White is a dry Portuguese white wine from the Douro valley, blended from three native grapes: Viosinho, Rabigato and Gouveio. The Douro is famous for its reds and Port, but its high-altitude whites are a lovely surprise. This one is fresh, aromatic and easy to share.

Tasting notes

Peach and pineapple on the nose with a hint of white flowers. The palate is fresh and balanced, with enough acidity to keep each sip lively. Viosinho brings body and aroma, Rabigato a crisp, citrus edge, and Gouveio a touch of roundness.

Food pairing

Try it with grilled fish, fresh oysters, a chicken salad, or a goat's cheese from Trás-os-Montes.
