Fonte da Bica Green Olive Paste 100 g is a Portuguese green olive paste from the Fonte da Bica brand. Open it with drinks, spread it on warm bread and let everyone help themselves.

Flavour and texture

Green olives are picked before they ripen, so the paste is fresher and more vegetal than a black olive spread, with a bright, slightly tangy and briny taste.

Food pairing

Spread it on toast or crackers, add it to a cheese board, swirl it into a dressing or serve it with grilled fish. A chilled Vinho Verde or a dry white Port and tonic suits it well.

About Fonte da Bica

Fonte da Bica is a Portuguese brand of olive oil and olive-based preserves. Portugal grows olives from the Minho to the Algarve, and native varieties such as Galega, Cobrançosa and Cordovil give oils and pastes with a fruity, gently peppery character.
