Fonte da Bica Eucalyptus Honey

Fonte da Bica Eucalyptus Honey is a Portuguese honey from eucalyptus blossom, one of the most typical honeys of Portugal. A jar for honey lovers who like a honey with personality, and a good gift from Portugal.

Flavour and texture

Eucalyptus honey is usually amber, with a rich, malty sweetness, hints of toffee and a faint woody, herbal note on the finish.

Food pairing

Drizzle it over queijo fresco or a mature sheep's cheese, stir it into tea, or use it on toast and in baking. A glass of tawny port is lovely with honey and cheese.

About Fonte da Bica

Eucalyptus covers large parts of central and northern Portugal, and Portuguese beekeepers have long produced honey from its flowers. We could not find much published about Fonte da Bica itself, so ask us at the shop if you want to know more.

Good to know

• Store at room temperature, closed. Honey can crystallise naturally: warm the jar gently in water to soften it.
• Glass jar.
• Pick it up at our shop in Graça.
