Flor da Selva Brazil Santos Coffee

Flor da Selva Brazil Santos Coffee is a Portuguese coffee from Lisbon, roasted over firewood by Flor da Selva from Brazilian Santos coffee. A smooth, easy coffee for every day, the kind you can drink from breakfast to the last cup after dinner.

Tasting notes

Santos is the classic name for coffees shipped from the port of Santos, in the state of São Paulo. Brazilian Santos is known for a soft, round cup with low acidity and notes of hazelnut, milk chocolate and caramel. The wood roast gives it a little extra warmth and depth.

Food pairing

Lovely with a pastel de nata, a queijada de Sintra or a slice of bolo de laranja. It also works very well with milk, as a galão or a meia de leite.

About Flor da Selva

Flor da Selva is a small family coffee roaster in the Madragoa quarter of Lisbon, founded in 1950 by Manuel Monteiro. It is one of the last roasters in the city that still roasts over firewood, the way it did from the start. The Monteiro family still runs it, and the bags keep the look of Portuguese coffee packaging from the 1950s. No additives, just coffee.
