Filipa Pato & William Wouters
Filipa Pato Dinâmica Baga Red
Pickup currently not available
Filipa Pato Dinâmica is a Portuguese red wine from Bairrada, made from 100% Baga by Filipa Pato and William Wouters from biodynamic vines. It is the fresh, unoaked face of Baga, a red with bite and lift that tastes of the Atlantic as much as of the fruit.
Tasting notes
James Suckling found dried flowers and cherry on the 2024, with a medium to full body and precise, chalky tannins. The grapes are fully destemmed, each vineyard is fermented separately in stainless steel with a long, gentle maceration, and the wine spends a short time in tank, with no oak.
Food pairing
It is a classic with leitão da Bairrada, the region's roast suckling pig. Also try it with duck rice, grilled lamb chops or a mushroom risotto.
About Filipa Pato & William Wouters
