Conserveira de Lisboa Tricana Anchovy Fillets 56 g is a 56 g tin of anchovy fillets from Lisbon, under the Tricana brand of Conserveira de Lisboa. A small tin of pure flavour, to keep in the cupboard for cooking or for an aperitif.

Flavour and texture

Anchovy fillets are salty, savoury and intense, with a deep umami taste. A few fillets are enough to season a whole dish.

Food pairing

Lay them on buttered toast or tomato bread, add them to a salad, a pizza or a pasta sauce, or serve them with roasted peppers. A crisp Arinto or a dry sparkling wine is ideal.

About Tricana

Tricana is one of the three brands of Conserveira de Lisboa, alongside Minor and Prata do Mar. The house was founded in 1930 and still trades from its historic shop on Rua dos Bacalhoeiros, in Lisbon's Baixa, where its colourful paper-wrapped tins are still sold.
