Conserveira de Lisboa Minor Small Mackerel with Lemon is a tin of small mackerel, or cavalinha, with lemon from Lisbon, under the Minor brand of Conserveira de Lisboa. A bright, fresh tin for an aperitif in the sun.

Flavour and texture

Cavalinha is the smaller mackerel of the Portuguese coast, with tender, flavourful flesh. Lemon adds a fresh, zesty note that balances the rich fish.

Food pairing

Serve on toast with a little parsley, in a salad, or with boiled potatoes. Pour a chilled Vinho Verde or a dry sparkling wine.

About Minor

Minor is one of the three brands of Conserveira de Lisboa, alongside Tricana and Prata do Mar. The house was founded in Lisbon in 1930 and still trades from its historic shop on Rua dos Bacalhoeiros, in the Baixa, known for its paper-wrapped tins.
