Caves São João
Caves São João Luiz Costa 7th Edition Pinot Noir Chardonnay Sparkling
Pickup currently not available
Caves São João Luiz Costa 7th Edition is a Portuguese traditional-method sparkling wine from Bairrada, made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and aged for a long time on its lees. The cuvée is a tribute (Homenagem) to Luiz Costa of the founding family, and it is one of the most serious sparkling wines of the house, a bottle for the big moments.
Tasting notes
Pale yellow with a straw tint. Aromas of citrus peel, dried flowers, light toast, butter biscuit and beeswax. The palate starts fresh, with good texture, a creamy mousse and a persistent finish. A very dry style, with little or no added sugar.
Food pairing
Serve it with oysters, seafood rice, leitão à Bairrada, a creamy Azeitão cheese or simply as a celebratory aperitif.
About Caves São João
