Caves São João Baga Novo Nat Cool Red 2023 1 L

Baga Novo Nat Cool is a light Bairrada red wine from Caves São João, made from Baga and bottled in a one litre format. It belongs to the Nat Cool family of easy, low alcohol Portuguese reds that you serve cool and pour without ceremony.

Tasting notes

Expect a pale, bright red and the crunchy red fruit and fresh acidity Baga is known for in Bairrada when it is picked for drinkability. At around 11% alcohol it stays light on its feet, with gentle tannins and a juicy, refreshing finish.

Food pairing

Chill it slightly and open it with leitão sandwiches, grilled chouriço, a plate of presunto and olives, or a mushroom risotto.
