Casa de Paços
Casa de Paços Prazo de Cotovia Late Harvest
Pickup currently not available
Prazo de Cotovia Vindima Tardia is a Portuguese late harvest sweet wine from Casa de Paços. Late harvest wines are rare in Portugal, and this is a lovely bottle to end a meal or to pair with cheese.
Tasting notes
Vindima tardia means late harvest: the grapes stay on the vine well after normal picking, so they concentrate sugar and aromas. Wines made this way usually show honey, ripe apricot, candied citrus and flowers, with acidity to keep the sweetness fresh.
Food pairing
Try it with a blue cheese or a creamy Serra da Estrela, pastéis de nata, foie gras on toast, or a fruit tart.
