Bajancas
Bajancas Reserva White
Pickup currently not available
Bajancas Reserva White is a Portuguese white wine from the Douro, blended from four native grapes: Viosinho, Rabigato, Gouveio and Códega. It has real personality, with plenty of fruit and a stony freshness that makes you want to pour a second glass.
Tasting notes
A burst of white fruit on the nose and palate, with a mineral touch that recalls river stones. Rabigato brings tension and citrus, Viosinho and Gouveio add roundness, and the finish is clean and fresh.
Food pairing
Perfect with grilled fish and oven roasted potatoes with olive oil, as the producer suggests. Also try it with octopus rice, grilled prawns or a young goat's cheese.
About Bajancas
Bajancas makes red and white wines in the Douro from the region's native grape varieties. Douro whites come mostly from higher, cooler vineyards, which is where grapes like Rabigato and Códega keep their freshness.
