Arcaico Pickled Beetroot 370 ml

Arcaico Pickled Beetroot 370 ml is a jar of pickled beetroot from the Arcaico range of pickles and chutneys. A deep red jar with an earthy sweetness, lovely on a winter board or in a salad.

Flavour and texture

Beetroot is preserved in a spiced vinegar brine. It is tender with a light bite, earthy and sweet, balanced by a clean, sharp acidity.

Food pairing

Serve with goat's cheese, smoked fish, roast pork or a green salad with walnuts. A fruity rosé or a light red from the Lisbon region works well.

About Arcaico

Arcaico is the label behind this range of pickles and chutneys in glass jars. Preserving vegetables in vinegar with spices is an old habit of Portuguese kitchens, where pickles and escabeche have always shared the table with petiscos.
