Pickup currently not available
Amarguinha Bitter Almond Liqueur 70 cl is a Portuguese almond liqueur from the Algarve, the best-known bitter almond liqueur in Portugal. It tastes of marzipan and Algarve summers, and it is a crowd-pleaser on ice after dinner.
Tasting notes
Expect a clear, sweet liqueur with an intense bitter almond and marzipan aroma, smooth on the palate and gently warming. Many Portuguese drink it ice cold, sometimes with a few drops of lemon juice.
Food pairing
Serve it with almond cakes, Dom Rodrigo, fig and almond sweets from the Algarve, vanilla ice cream or a coffee.
About Amarguinha
