Zidra Pomegranate Cider

Zidra Pomegranate Cider is a Portuguese fruit cider made with romã, pomegranate. A bright, ruby-coloured bottle for an apéritif with friends.

Tasting notes

Pomegranate gives the cider a lovely colour and a fresh, slightly tart red fruit flavour, with notes of cranberry and red berries and fine bubbles. Pour it into a wide wine glass rather than a tall one, so the fruit aromas can open up.

Food pairing

Pour it with charcuterie, a cheese board, roast duck or a red fruit dessert.

About Zidra

Zidra makes fruit ciders with a Portuguese accent, from apple to prickly pear, passion fruit and pomegranate. Cider has a long history in Portugal, especially on Madeira, where Sidra da Madeira has its own geographical indication, and a new generation of producers is bringing it back with modern, fruity styles.
