Quinta do Piloto Collection Roxo Red

Quinta do Piloto Collection Roxo Red is a Portuguese red wine from the Península de Setúbal, made by Quinta do Piloto, a family estate in Palmela just south of Lisbon. It is an easy, fruit-forward red for everyday meals, a friendly bottle to bring to a barbecue or a Sunday lunch.

Tasting notes

Setúbal peninsula reds grow in warm, sandy soils near the Atlantic, and are known for ripe, round fruit. Castelão is the region's signature red grape. Expect red and black berries, a soft texture and a smooth finish.

Food pairing

Serve it with grilled chouriço, bifanas, a pizza, or roast chicken with potatoes.

Quinta do Piloto is a family estate in Palmela, on the Setúbal peninsula south of Lisbon, known for its Moscatel de Setúbal and for reds from the sandy soils of the region.
