Quinta do Perdigão
Quinta do Perdigão Red 5 L
Pickup currently not available
Quinta do Perdigão Red is a Portuguese red wine from the Dão, made from organic grapes by a small family estate near Viseu, here in a 5 litre bottle. A big format like this is the centrepiece of a long lunch, a wedding or a party, and large bottles age slowly and gracefully.
Tasting notes
The estate's reds are made from Dão grapes such as Alfrocheiro, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz, grown on granite. Dão reds are known for their elegance: red and black fruit, a floral, slightly resinous edge, fine tannins and fresh acidity, rather than heavy power.
Food pairing
Serve it with roast kid or lamb, leitão, a feijoada, or a whole table of grilled meats.
