Quinta do Perdigão Encruzado is a dry Portuguese white wine from the Dão, made from 100% Encruzado, the region's signature white grape, by a small organic family estate near Viseu. It is a white that rewards a little patience and a good meal.
Tasting notes
Encruzado from the Dão is known for its texture and balance: citrus, white flowers and a touch of resin or hazelnut, a creamy palate held up by fresh acidity, and a mineral feel from the granite soils. It is one of the Portuguese whites that age best.
Food pairing
Serve it with bacalhau com natas, roast pork loin, a seafood rice, or a creamy Serra da Estrela cheese.
