Tasting notes

Curtimenta is the Portuguese word for white wine left on its grape skins, like a red. This gives an amber colour, gentle tannins and flavours of dried orange peel, apricot, herbs and tea, with a dry, savoury finish.

Food pairing

Orange wines love strong flavours: try it with spiced dishes, grilled mackerel, cured ham, mushrooms, or a mature cheese.
