Quinta de la Rosa Reserva White

Quinta de la Rosa Reserva White is a dry Portuguese white wine from the Douro Valley, made by the Bergqvist family at their estate in Pinhão from traditional Douro white grapes. It is a serious, food-friendly white with the structure to age, from one of the best-known family names in the valley.

Tasting notes

Mark Squires of Wine Advocate described the 2019 as dense yet crisp, with a long, textured finish, and gave it a decade or more of life. That vintage was built mostly on Viosinho and Rabigato, with Arinto, Códega and Gouveio, and aged six months, mostly in used oak.

Food pairing

Open it with roast chicken, bacalhau com natas, grilled turbot, or a mature sheep cheese.

About Quinta de la Rosa

The Bergqvist family has run Quinta de la Rosa in Pinhão, in the heart of the Douro, since 1906. The estate makes both Port and Douro table wines from its own vineyards above the river.
