Companhia Agrícola do Sanguinhal
Quinta das Cerejeiras Wine Brandy 1982 70 cl
Pickup currently not available
Quinta das Cerejeiras 1982 is a vintage Portuguese wine brandy, an aguardente vínica from the 1982 harvest, made by Companhia Agrícola do Sanguinhal in Bombarral, in the Óbidos area of the Lisbon wine region. Single-year brandies like this are rare, and a bottle from 1982 is a very special way to mark a birthday, an anniversary or a retirement from that year.
Tasting notes
Long-aged Portuguese wine brandies tend to show a deep amber colour, aromas of dried fruit, vanilla, spice and polished wood, and a warm, lingering finish. At 40% vol, take it slowly in a tulip glass and let it open for a few minutes.
Food pairing
Serve it on its own after dinner, or with dark chocolate, toasted walnuts and almonds, dried figs, or a good cigar outside.
