Quinta das Bageiras Bruto Natural Sparkling

Quinta das Bageiras Bruto Natural is a white Portuguese sparkling wine from Bairrada, made in the traditional method and bottled with zero dosage. Bairrada is Portugal's sparkling wine heartland, and Bageiras makes some of its sharpest bottles. Bone dry and full of energy, it is a serious alternative to Champagne for the aperitif.

Tasting notes

Critics describe recent vintages as fragrant, with a light toasty note and fresh, tangy citrus. Because no sugar is added at disgorgement, the wine stays dry and clean, with fine bubbles and a crisp finish that keeps you reaching for another glass.

Food pairing

Serve it with Bairrada's leitão, which locals pair with sparkling wine, or with oysters, fried fish, or a plate of presunto and cheese.

Mário Sérgio founded Quinta das Bageiras in 1989 and now farms 28 hectares in Bairrada. All of the estate's sparkling wines are made with zero dosage.
