Quinta da Raza
Quinta da Raza Pet Nat Sparkling Rosé
Pickup currently not available
Quinta da Raza Pet Nat Rosé is a natural sparkling rosé from the Basto sub-region of Vinho Verde, in northern Portugal, made from two local red grapes, Padeiro and Vinhão. It finishes fermenting in the bottle, which gives a soft, natural fizz. The producer describes it as an easy-going, drinkable sparkling wine, and that is exactly how it works best: cold, outdoors, with friends.
Tasting notes
Bright, zesty citrus and stone fruit, white flowers on the nose, and bready notes from the lees that add texture and a little weight. The colour comes naturally from Vinhão, a grape with deeply coloured skins. Wild fermentation and minimal sulphur.
Food pairing
Lovely as an aperitif or with light dishes: prawns with garlic, salmon or tuna tartare, a charcuterie board, or a plate of fresh cheese and figs.
