Portugal in Tube Tawny Port (Tasting Tube)

Portugal in Tube Tawny Port is a wood-aged Port wine from the Douro valley, sold in a single tasting tube. Tawny is the Port many Portuguese pour after dinner, and the tube is an easy way to taste it.

Tasting notes

Tawny Port is aged in wooden casks, where slow contact with air turns its colour from red to amber and its fruit towards dried flavours. Expect dried fig, raisin, toasted hazelnut, caramel and a little spice, with a smooth, sweet finish.

Food pairing

Lovely with crème brûlée, toasted almond tart, pastéis de nata, or a wedge of aged cheese.
