Poças
Poças Vermute Soberbo, White Port Vermouth
Pickup currently not available
Poças Vermute Soberbo is a Portuguese vermouth from the Douro, made with white Port by the Port house Poças in Vila Nova de Gaia. It is a modern aperitif with deep roots, perfect to open an evening before dinner.
Tasting notes
The sweetness of white Port balances the bitterness of the aromatic herbs. Expect a golden, aromatic vermouth, with herbal and citrus notes over a rich, round base.
Food pairing
Serve it on ice with an orange peel, alongside salted almonds, olives, cured ham or tinned fish. It also makes a fine Portuguese negroni.
