Motsi Lemon Cake

Motsi Lemon Cake is a lemon cake made by Motsi, one of the small makers we stock at our shop in Lisbon. A cake to bring to a friend's house, or to share with coffee on a slow afternoon.

Flavour and texture

A good lemon cake is all about balance: a tender crumb, a sunny citrus perfume and a sweet, slightly sharp finish.

Food pairing

Serve it with coffee or tea, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or with a glass of Moscatel de Setúbal or late harvest white.
