Manocas Pet Nat Sparkling

Manocas Pet Nat is a Portuguese sparkling wine from the Vinho Verde region, made in the pétillant naturel method, bottled while still fermenting so the bubbles form naturally. It is a fun, fresh, gently fizzy bottle for aperitifs, picnics and the first warm evenings of the year.

Tasting notes

Pet nats are usually cloudy, with soft, fine bubbles and a little sediment from the yeast. From the cool, Atlantic Vinho Verde region, expect crisp acidity, citrus and green apple, and a dry, refreshing finish. Each bottle can vary slightly, which is part of the charm.

Food pairing

Serve it with salted snacks, fried peixinhos da horta, oysters, prawns, or a plate of young cheese and fruit.
