Luís Pato Kite Duck

Kite Duck is a Bairrada wine from Luís Pato, part of the family's Duck range, a wink at their surname: pato means duck in Portuguese. It is an easygoing bottle from a great Bairrada house, and the duck on the label makes it a fun gift.

Tasting notes

Bairrada lies between the Atlantic and the Buçaco hills, and its cool, damp climate and clay limestone soils give wines with high acidity, freshness and a distinctly Atlantic feel. Ask our team at the bar for their notes on Kite Duck.

About Luís Pato

The Pato family farms around 55 hectares of vineyards in Bairrada, planted only with Portuguese grapes: Baga, Touriga Nacional, Maria Gomes, Bical, Cercial and Sercialinho. Luís Pato is a reference name in the region, known for championing Baga and for a creative streak in the cellar.
