Hernandez Portuguese Vermouth 75 cl

Hernandez Portuguese Vermouth 75 cl is a Portuguese vermouth from Alcobaça, in the Oeste region north of Lisbon, flavoured with 17 spices, roots, fruits and herbs. It is the bottle for a long aperitif on the terrace, served the Iberian way: on ice, with orange and an olive.

Tasting notes

Hernandez is described as herbal, balsamic and citrusy, with mugwort among its botanicals. At 17% alcohol it is a gentle aperitif, bittersweet and aromatic, lovely on its own or in cocktails.

Food pairing

Serve it with olives, salted almonds, tinned fish, cured ham or a cheese board. In cocktails, try it in a negroni with a Portuguese gin.
