Herdade do Cebolal Red
Pickup currently not available
Herdade do Cebolal Red is a Portuguese red wine from the Península de Setúbal, south of Lisbon, a blend of Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon and Alicante Bouschet. It is a generous, food-friendly red for grilled meat, family dinners and cold evenings.
Tasting notes
Each grape brings something: Touriga Nacional is known for its floral, violet and dark berry aromas, Cabernet Sauvignon for structure and blackcurrant, Alicante Bouschet for deep colour and ripe, dark fruit. Expect a full, rounded red with a firm finish.
Food pairing
Serve it with picanha or entrecôte, secretos de porco preto, a chouriço assado, a stew such as carne de porco à alentejana, or aged sheep's cheese.
