Herdade do Cebolal Lufinha Red

Lufinha is a red wine from Herdade do Cebolal on the Península de Setúbal, blending Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante Bouschet and Castelão. It carries the family name of the winemaker, a sign of a wine made with care. Ripe southern fruit meets Atlantic freshness, for a red that suits a long, generous meal.

Tasting notes

Touriga Nacional brings floral, dark-berry aromas, Cabernet adds structure, Alicante Bouschet colour and depth, and Castelão, the classic Setúbal grape, a red-fruit, slightly spicy side. Expect a full-bodied, rounded red.

About Herdade do Cebolal

Herdade do Cebolal is a family estate dating back to 1890, near the Atlantic coast south of Lisbon. Winemaker Luís Lufinha Mota Capitão farms vines alongside cork and pine forest, pasture, bees and livestock.
