Gorreana Green Tea with Hibiscus, Loose Leaf
Pickup currently not available
Gorreana Green Tea with Hibiscus, Loose Leaf is a Portuguese green tea with hibiscus, in loose leaf, from São Miguel, in the Azores, made by Gorreana, the oldest tea plantation in Europe still in production. A ruby cup with a gentle tang, lovely hot and wonderful over ice.
Tasting notes
Gorreana green tea is typically gentle and fresh, with grassy, lightly sweet notes and very little bitterness. Hibiscus adds a deep red colour and a lively, slightly tart flavour of red berries and cranberry.
Food pairing
Serve it with fruit tarts, a slice of chocolate cake or a fresh fruit salad. Iced, it is great with a summer lunch.
About Gorreana
Founded in 1883 on the north coast of São Miguel, Gorreana is the oldest tea plantation in Europe still in production. Its tea grows on volcanic soil, without herbicides, pesticides or fungicides, and the estate handles every step from leaf to packet.
