Fonte da Bica Galega Olive Paste 100 g

Fonte da Bica Galega Olive Paste 100 g is a Portuguese olive paste from the Fonte da Bica brand, made with Galega olives. Spread it on toast with a glass of wine before dinner, the easiest petisco there is.

Flavour and texture

Galega is Portugal's most traditional olive variety, small and dark, with a mellow, slightly fruity and gently bitter taste. Blended into a paste, it gives a smooth, savoury spread with a rich olive flavour.

Food pairing

Serve it on toasted bread or crackers, with fresh cheese, in a sandwich with tomato, or stirred into pasta. Open a red from the Alentejo or a glass of dry rosé with it.

About Fonte da Bica

Fonte da Bica is a Portuguese brand of olive oil and olive-based preserves. Portugal grows olives from the Minho to the Algarve, and native varieties such as Galega, Cobrançosa and Cordovil give oils and pastes with a fruity, gently peppery character.
