Feito no Zambujal
Feito no Zambujal Sliced Presunto 100 g
Pickup currently not available
Feito no Zambujal Sliced Presunto is a Portuguese dry-cured ham from the Serra do Caldeirão, in the Algarve, made from Iberian pigs raised outdoors and cured for two and a half to three years. A small-farm ham from the Algarve hills, ready sliced for your table.
Flavour and texture
A long cure with only a short salting gives deep red slices that taste savoury rather than salty, with nutty, slightly sweet notes and soft, melting fat.
How to enjoy it
Lay the slices on a board with bread, olives and a fresh cheese, or with ripe figs. Pour an Algarve red, an Alentejo red or a Bairrada sparkling.
