Delância Sparkling White with Elderflower and Green Tea

Delância Elderflower and Green Tea is a Portuguese sparkling botanical aperitif, a low-alcohol white wine spritz made from Alentejo wine and blended with elderflower and green tea. It has the look and the pop of a sparkling wine, with less alcohol and a fresh, floral lift, which makes it an easy choice for long afternoons and early aperitifs.

Tasting notes

A delicate fizz carries the floral, honeyed scent of elderflower, balanced by the light, slightly grassy freshness of green tea and the crispness of the white wine base. Light, dry enough to stay refreshing, and easy to drink.

Food pairing

Serve it on its own, very cold, or with fresh goat cheese, cucumber and herb salads, sushi, prawns, or a lemon tart. It also works as a base for simple cocktails over ice with a slice of cucumber or lemon.

About Delância

Delância was created by Portuguese winemakers Tom Simpson and Inès Deroche as a lighter, low-alcohol alternative to sparkling wine. The base wine comes from the Alentejo, and the bottles were designed by the Cornish studio Kingdom & Sparrow.
