Convento dos Cardaes Raspberry Jam 212 ml is a Portuguese raspberry jam from Lisbon, from the 17th century Convento dos Cardaes. A bright, tangy jar for breakfast and baking.

About the Convento dos Cardaes

The Convento dos Cardaes, on Rua do Século in Lisbon, was founded in 1681 for Discalced Carmelite nuns and came through the 1755 earthquake. Since the late 19th century it has been home to an institution caring for women with special needs, with the help of Dominican sisters. Its jams and biscuits are sold to support the house, so every jar does a little good.
