Conserveira de Lisboa Tricana Mackerel Fillets in Olive Oil 120 g is a 120 g tin of mackerel fillets in olive oil from Lisbon, under the Tricana brand of Conserveira de Lisboa. A tin to open with bread and a glass of wine, for a petisco in the Lisbon way.

Flavour and texture

Mackerel is rich and full of flavour. As fillets in olive oil it is tender and moist, with a deep taste of the sea, a little stronger than tuna.

Food pairing

Serve on toasted bread with a squeeze of lemon, in a potato salad, with tomato and onion, or on a cracker with fresh cheese. Pour a crisp Vinho Verde or an Alvarinho.

About Tricana

Tricana is one of the three brands of Conserveira de Lisboa, alongside Minor and Prata do Mar. The house was founded in 1930 and still trades from its historic shop on Rua dos Bacalhoeiros, in Lisbon's Baixa, where its colourful paper-wrapped tins are still sold.
